Admiral and Mrs. Burke Busts

Admiral Arleigh Albert Burke was a legendary war hero who served an unprecedented three terms as Chief of Naval Operations. Burke won the nickname “31-knot Burke” from the daring speed with which he maneuvered the ships of DESRON 23 before the battle of Cape St. George in 1943. During a 40-year career, the dedicated husband and wife team of Admiral and Mrs. Burke touched the lives of thousands of Navy men and women- and their families.

In Memory of LCDR Augustine “Tony” Santille, USN
